This summer, I decided to just spend a quiet evening with friends by the lake. I got up full of satisfaction and enthusiasm. Not only because I slept well, but also because of the wonderful day. The sun gifted with extraordinary rays of mood, lighting outside, and there were no clouds in the sky. Such weather predicted an enjoyable day. Maybe it was a bit sparkling, but it didn’t spoil my good mood. I placed all the necessary items in the backpack and took them to the tent. I was completely prepared for the journey. Actually, I met friends at the park and from here we moved towards our purpose. The bike ride wasn’t really long and was entertaining. As I drove, my glasses fell off my head, so I stopped and called my friends to wait for me. I quickly got off the bike and picked up my glasses. I was very surprised when I got on the bike. I looked around and my friends were no longer seen. I experience a little panic, but I tried to calm myself. I pulled out my smartphone and decided to call them. But failure came without any notice. As soon as I pulled out the phone, it beeped and reported that its battery was low. I realized that the situation became a bit desperate. There was no comprehensible solution neither in my mind nor in the artificial intelligence of my phone. I was helplessly lost because that lake was unknown to me, and there was no suggestion to take a simple paper map to reach my destination.  Have you ever counted such horrible days? Probably such a day counter is very disgusting for everyone.

 

I tried to make myself to be quiet and after some time iI came to the conclusion that there was no probability to reach my destination or return home. I concentrated my thoughts and decided to look for a way according to the stories of my friends. I was panicked, turning the wheels around, but I couldn’t find a track that, according to friends, should be leading to the lake. After maybe half an hour, I finally found that track and turned on it. But the further I drove, the more I began to doubt. There was only golden sand and trees around, and no lake was visible from afar. I drove for another half hour, stopped, looked around. Suddenly I noticed the lake and an abandoned, gloomy cottage with a few broken windows. It looked really old-fashioned and horrible. It seemed as if nobody lived for many years. I walked around this house until I suddenly heard a squeak and a strong knock on the door. Looking inside the window, I was very surprised to see someone climbing from the second floor. It was some kind of wanderer. I quickly grabbed the stick that held the door and picked it up. I took a quick step into the house and looked around. The image I saw shocked me. I was not sure if to be upset or laugh. That beggar was my friend who caught a cat from somewhere. I asked where they came from here, and they said it was the place by the lake we were going to. We joked and felt strange.
 

I sincerely say it’s wonderful to have such days with friends which happens from time to time, from date to date. There is no difference if you choose days for holidays in summer or other dates. Such memories make our life more vivid and exceptional. I will remember all my life. This is pleasure to  count days between dates when you are experiencing real adventure.
