Neighbouring countries by a land border

This is a list of countries that have a land border with other countries. Some on this list have a maritime border and additional neighbors. Maritime neighbours are not listed here. For example, Canada has a sea boundary with France (between the island of Newfoundland and the territory of St. Pierre and Miquelon). But Canada has no land border with this country. Islands may not have neighbouring countries by a land border. Usually, they share only maritime boundaries.
