They are trying to solve the language problem by teaching Gaelic in schools, but its popularity is low.

 

The Irish are known for their love of drinking and partying. The Irish language has a word for it, "craic" ("crack"), which roughly means "noisy collective fun" and, in my opinion, perfectly describes their "national idea".
